I.  Esperanto Studies Conference, Fortaleza (BR):਍ഀ August 4-10 (2002)

The 2002 Esperanto Studies Conference,਍ഀ held this year under the auspices of the Center for Exploration and਍ഀ Documentation of the World Language Problem (CED) during the World Esperanto਍ഀ Congress in Fortaleza, Brazil (August 4-10, 2002)਍ഀ will have the theme “Esperanto Culture: Diversity in Unity, Unity in Diversity”.

The Conference will be divided into two sections.਍ഀ In the first, a panel of experts will discuss the characteristics of the਍ഀ Esperanto culture as a whole and what can be done to strengthen both it and the਍ഀ language community which carries it. In the second section, the role of the਍ഀ Universal Esperanto Association in the development of the Esperanto culture਍ഀ will be discussed.

II. 17^th਍ഀ International Conference of Linguistics, Prague (CZ): July਍ഀ 24-29 (2003)

਍ഀ ਍ഀ

The Center for Exploration and਍ഀ Documentation of the World Language (CED) is planning a meeting of researchers਍ഀ in interlinguistics toward the beginning of the 17^th International਍ഀ Conference of Linguistics in Prague਍ഀ next year. Details will follow.
